The city of Victoria has announced that they are cancelling their Canada Day events this year.  They justify this move because of "the history of our country’s genocidal relationship with First Nations."  And activists on Twitter are demanding that Canada Day celebrations be cancelled across the country.

Canada is not perfect -- no country is.  But we are among the least racist countries in the world, and have made huge strides toward treating all people of all skin colours with respect, dignity, and equality.  People from all over the world know this.  That's why hundreds of thousands of immigrants move here every year, seeking a better life.

Will you join us, and say "NO" to the cancel culture mob?  Will you stand up for Canada's heritage and symbols, acknowledging the bad while still celebrating all the good?
